PERSONAL TRAINING BALLINA, LENNOX HEAD AND BYRON BAY
I’m Roberta O’Brien, Personal Trainer. I offer one-on-one training sessions and group fitness including running groups, outdoor fitness and stretch & strength classes. I am also in partnership with gyms in Ballina, Lennox Head and Byron Bay to offer a range of indoor group classes that cater to all levels of fitness.

Training with Roberta has made me feel confident, strong, fit, determined and able to give anything a go!! I feel like this because she believes in me and has supported me to believe in me. As someone who knows how it feels to be unfit and overweight, this is incredibly important. My mother’s group met Roberta and rather than spending time chatting over coffee and cake we train as a small group (there are 6 of us). The intensity of the training suits the range of fitness levels in the group, and she makes sure every week that we get the most out of the time we have with her! Roberta has an incredible respect for us as women, as mothers, as partners, and importantly as individuals. She knows how hard it is for women to find time to exercise, she knows how hard it can be to co-ordinate busy schedules but she gives us permission to take this time for ourselves “guilt free”, even if this means supporting us to leave a crying child in the crèche! Roberta has a good sense of humor, a balanced approach to exercise and nutrition she is supportive and encouraging. Roberta has helped me get fit physically, mentally and emotionally, and this enables me to be the best mum I can be. I love training with Roberta and have been privileged to also participate in her group fitness sessions at the gym and outdoor boxing. It doesn’t matter where she is Roberta is always friendly, professional, passionate and committed to her work, which motivates me to give more each session. I thank her so much for contributing in such a positive way to my weight loss and fitness journey, which enables me to say with pride that I am fitter and healthier than I have ever been in my life.
Roberta is a phenomenal trainer! Every week I’m challenged in a new way, nothing ever gets repetitive or stale. She offers the ongoing encouragement to dig deeper when you think you have nothing left without making you feel like you’ve somehow joined the Army. And best of all I can feel and see the results. I feel stronger, healthier and all round happier. And I can run now!
Thanks to Roberta, my love for exercise has come back. Each session Roberta offers me new and wonderful challenges. I am successfully getting fitter, healthier and losing weight. But best of all, I feel amazing. Thanks Roberta for showing me how to run and for teaching me that anything is possible.
Roberta leads a fun, happy, energetic outdoor training group and is wonderful at keeping you motivated with her constant encouragement.
